Dakota Fanning and Tom Odell – two of the most successful youngsters in the film and music world – have been cast in the spring campaign for Uniqlo.

The Japanese retailer, known for its functional, fuss-free designs, has chosen the fresh-faced blonde duo to front its indigo and denim-focused new collection.

Incredibly, at just 19-years-old, Dakota Fanning has appeared in more than 25 films including The Twilight Saga, I Am Sam, War of the Worlds and The Runaways. The Hollywood starlet – whose sister, Elle, can currently be seen in the Miu Miu Spring Summer 2014 campaign – is also the youngest actress ever to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award. Phew!

And Brit singer Tom Odell is going places, fast. The 22-year-old has just been nominated for both Best Male and Best Newcomer at the forthcoming Brit Awards. And since winning the Critics Choice Award at the Brits last year, his debut album reached the number one spot in the UK charts and he has already sold over 1 million records.

Dakota belies her 19 years in a ladylike, preppy mix of sleeveless shirt, slim-fitting jeans and loafers. While Tom Odell looks dapper in a pair of bright white jeans and checked shirt.
