Yahoo has just revealed the first trailer for Ol Parker’s (Imagine Me & You) Now is Good, which is based on Jenny Downham’s popular book Before I Die. Starring Dakota Fanning, Jeremy Irvine (War Horse), Paddy Considine, Olivia Williams, and Kaya Scodelario, the drama follows a girl dying of leukemia who compiles a list of things she wants to accomplish before she dies, which includes falling in love and losing her virginity. Set to hit cinemas in the UK on May 25th, the trailer shows off a cute relationship between the central pairing of Fanning and Irvine, and accomplished performances from Considine and Williams as the girl’s parents. Nevertheless, it is difficult to find this story believable, although perhaps that is due to the awesome but attention-grabbing “Do You Realize?” by The Flaming Lips as the background track. Maybe that’s just me. Watch the trailer below!
